WEOM® Zoom Block thermal module is a state-of-the-art thermal imaging camera module with continuous motorized optical zoom, designed and manufactured in Europe. It is ideal for integration into industrial, security, defense, and autonomous systems (UAVs, UGVs, fixed or mobile thermal cameras). The module is fully ITAR-free, making it export-friendly, and offers outstanding performance in a compact form factor weighing less than 760 grams.

Combining a high-sensitivity 640 × 480 px detector, 35–105 mm motorized zoom, and a wide range of interfaces (Ethernet, RS485, ONVIF compatibility), it delivers superior image quality, easy system integration, and flexible use in challenging environments. With a sensitivity below 30 mK and advanced FPGA-based image processing, it ensures sharp, detailed visualization even in extreme temperature conditions. The WEOM® Zoom Block thermal module also includes various interfaces such as Ethernet (with PoE support), RS485 for PTZ control, digital I/O, and full ONVIF compatibility, enabling rapid integration into modern systems without requiring further development or customization.

With advanced motorized optical zoom (35–105 mm)  users can precisely monitor scenes at varying distances without compromising image clarity – whether observing large industrial zones, securing borders, or tracking moving objects from a UAV.

Its robust aluminum body, IP67-rated front lens, and wide operating temperature range ensure long-term performance in harsh outdoor conditions or mission-critical applications. With high thermal sensitivity (<30 mK), full-frame 60 Hz refresh rate, and a choice of color palettes and zoom levels, the module delivers exceptional situational awareness even in total darkness or extreme weather.

WEOM® thermal cores are equipped with advanced FPGA image processing technology, delivering exceptional image quality and scene visualization. With high sensitivity of 30mK and a sensor resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, WEOM® ensures accurate detection and visualization of even the smallest temperature differences. This high level of sensitivity and resolution makes WEOM® cores suitable for a wide range of applications, from industrial inspections to security and surveillance.

Advanced Lenses with Zoom

The WEOM® Zoom Block is available with a 35–105 mm motorized optical zoom lens, offering 3× continuous zoom with exceptional detection range. Using Johnson’s Criteria, the system can detect a human-sized object at distances up to 3,910 meters, a vehicle up to 9,470 meters, and a drone up to 2,060 meters. The lens features a fast f/1.6 aperture, IP67-rated front lens protection, and a durable DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating – all essential for delivering high-quality thermal imaging in harsh environments and mission-critical applications.
