The SAFETIS EV-C advanced thermal camera is equipped with a state-of-the-art array of 19,200 active temperature sensors, delivering unmatched real-time detection capabilities. It provides comprehensive coverage across a wide temperature range from -10 °C to 400 °C (14 °F to 752 °F), with an exceptional temperature sensitivity of 0.1 °C. The device's prowess in rapid detection is highlighted by its ability to perform automatic real-time area scans up to nine times per second, thereby ensuring continuous monitoring without lapses.

Central to the SAFETIS EV-C's design is its sophisticated dual alarm detection system. This system allows for the configuration of two distinct alarm thresholds per region of interest (ROI), supported by digital/relay outputs. This feature facilitates immediate and precise response mechanisms in varying critical conditions.

Further enhancing its operational autonomy, the SAFETIS EV-C integrates an onboard SMART evaluation system that negates the need for external computing hardware.

Built to endure the toughest industrial environments, the SAFETIS EV-C is encased in a rugged aluminum body and boasts an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. Its operational temperature range of -5 °C to 50 °C (32 °F to 122 °F) and storage temperature range of -35 °C to 80 °C (-22 °F to 140 °F) attest to its resilience and durability. Configuration flexibility is a hallmark of this device, offering user-friendly setup options through desktop software or a webserver. This ensures secure, efficient, and adaptable deployment. The camera supports extensive customization, including up to 32 ROIs with dual alarm capabilities, 180° image rotation, and intuitive LED signalization for immediate status indication.

Detection capabilities

SAFETIS EV-C is equipped with 19,200 active temperature sensors, providing extensive and detailed environmental monitoring, thereby enhancing the ability for rapid fire detection. Smart evaluation​

SAFETIS EV-C is equipped with a built-in SMART evaluation system, meaning its operating system is standalone and does not require connection to any additional computer or hardware to function. This feature allows the device to operate efficiently and independently, simplifying installation and reducing the need for additional equipment.

Double alarm detection

SAFETIS EV-C features a two-level alarm system for quick temperature detection, allowing users to customize settings including digital or relay outputs for each region-of-interest (ROI), which includes both warning and critical alarms. This functionality offers customizable protection and an effective response to temperature anomalies, enhancing safety and response capabilities in the event of risks.

Control protocol

SAFETIS EV-C communicates with other devices using the standard Modbus RTU protocol, either through the RS485 wired interface or Ethernet network. Although a special service software for setting up SAFETIS EV-C is included in the package, customers can use any other compatible software due to the universality of the Modbus RTU protocol.

Area scanning

The real-time automatic scanning feature allows SAFETIS EV-C to continuously monitor and analyze the environment, performing up to 9 scans per second. This high scanning rate ensures high accuracy and immediate response to any changes in the monitored area, which is key for effective prevention and detection of risks.
